In 2022, the Ust-Aldan ulus will host the VIII Sports Games of the peoples of the Republic of Sakha

As part of the preparation for a major republican event, a number of sports facilities are currently under construction in the ulus. On June 17, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, checked the construction progress of a universal martial arts complex, a stadium and a multifunctional health and sports complex.





A universal complex of combat sports with a dormitory for 32 people is being built in the village. Mindaba. The universal complex is being built at the expense of the federal and regional budgets under the project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography".


Currently, the facility is working on the concreting of the basement floor, the columns of the first floor, and the form work of the foundation beams. Before September, builders need to complete the construction of the box, then begin external and internal finishing work, work on engineering networks.


Further, Aisen Nikolaev checked the construction progress of the Mayagatta Burt Khara stadium with a stand for 1000 seats and a collapsible stand also for 4000 seats. The stadium will be equipped with circular and straight running tracks, jumping tracks, a football field and playing sectors. The territory of the stadium will be equipped with flagpoles, a flare overpass, an electronic scoreboard with a video screen, searchlight masts, and places for video cameras. Outside the stadium, there will be parking spaces and two sports grounds.


Now crushed stone, cement and metal are being brought to the construction site for the arrangement of the tribune. The production of sections of the fence, planning of the territory with tamping is in progress. Materials for fencing the territory have been delivered.


A two-storey building of a multi functional complex with a universal hall for 100 spectators is also being erected within the framework of the regional project "Sport is the norm of life" of the national project "Demography". It will house a table tennis hall, a gym, aerobics hall, a 100-meter track and field athletics hall, an air gun shooting range, an office for intellectual sports games, a training room, a shooting room, and a medical block.


At present, drilling works have been completed at the facility, the installation of piles is being completed, and form work has begun on the basement floor.


All three sports facilities are scheduled for commissioning in 2022. However, further construction of sports facilities requires a solution of financial issues. Based on the results of the inspection of the facilities, Aisen Nikolaev instructed the Government of the republic in July of this year to send for the construction of sports facilities the funds of the grant allocated by the Government of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the amount of 285 million rubles for the implementation of national projects and the results achieved on the social and economic development of the region in the results of 2020. Il Darkhan expressed confidence that this decision will allow to intensify the pace of construction and commission the facilities on time.
